B.Eng. Chemical Engineering Full-time

Year: 3
2025/26 Session

Due to the requirements of IChemE accreditation for B/MEng programmes, students who fail any "core" modules in year 3 will normally be transferred to an unaccredited B/MEng in Chemical Engineering Technology. In this instance "core modules" refers to modules whose learning outcomes are included in UK SPEC/IChemE. Decisions as to whether a student has met the requirements of the B/MEng accredited programme will be made on a case by case basis.

The following must be taken:

Module Title Code Credits Semester
Design Project 04 17133 40 Full Term
LH Advanced Reactors and Thermodynamics 04 33126 20 Semester 1
LH Multiphase Systems 04 23624 20 Semester 1
